We are absolutely thrilled to share that the wonderful Emily Hayward is taking on the Faversham 10k on Sunday 21st September to raise money for our cause – The Bluebell Circle.


Emily is running for us because this project is close to her heart, and we are so grateful for her dedication and kindness. What makes this challenge even more inspiring is that Emily is a very new mum to a 6-month-old baby – so finding the time and energy to train and take part is no small feat! Her determination is truly amazing.


Emily and Sofia shared a truly special bond. To Sofia, Emily was like an Auntie – someone she looked up to with love and trust. She adored both of Emily’s sons, and even though she only met Emily’s youngest briefly, she reached out to gently clutch his tiny hand, despite being very poorly at the time – a tender moment that will never be forgotten. Beyond her connection with Sofia, Emily has been a rock for Alyce (Sofia’s mum), offering unwavering friendship and support through every high and low. Her kindness, strength, and loyalty have meant more than words can express.


Every step she takes in this race will be helping us move closer to our ultimate goal: raising £30,000 to create an extraordinary community space in Halling, in memory of the beautiful Sofia Le Brunn-Healey.


This space will be a place for connection, reflection, and joy – a legacy that truly honours Sofia’s spirit. Emily’s fundraising run is a huge part of making this vision a reality, and we couldn’t be more proud to have her on our side.
